Yesterday

by: Iolanda Scripca

Two chairs, one soul

Her scarf - a transparent seagull

begging for food from emptiness

Tsunamis - far away...

It feels good when waves keep on coming back

She made eye contact with a sand creature....

Smiled together...

Sun's fingertips play water tricks with her eyes

Dolphins carpool together

They missed her stop

It's getting dark

An empty canoe drifts away

no lifeguard...
