Lost in Arizona

by: Iolanda Scripca

Hand escapes through a car window

Dreams of nature on a moonscape.

It floats with dolphins struck by the Mirage

I fly over red rocks with eagles,

They understand me...

Cacti's spines refuse to hurt me

I bring water...

White, beautiful windmills get stuck in my hair

They promise they will provide a smile

Humans still repair crossroads

As I drive by...

Destination unknown...
